Before you create.

Nine answers. Guests stay in the browser. The roll stays sealed until the time you pick.

When do the photos appear?

You pick the develop time when you create the event: next morning at 9:00, after 24 hours, or a custom time. Nobody sees frames until then.

Do I need to download an app?

No. HoldCam is web-only. Guests open the event link on their phone. Hosts create and manage the roll in the browser.

How do guests and hosts use it?

Guests open a link and shoot. Hosts run the roll in the browser. We email a backup link for another device. This is not a social network.

What if guests shoot past the cap?

Over-cap frames are stored in escrow. They are never dropped. Unlock them by upgrading the roll.

What if more guests join than the package allows?

They can still join and shoot. Extra guests are held in escrow until you upgrade to a tier that covers them.

Does the camera work offline?

Yes. Guests can shoot without a network. Frames upload when the phone is back online.

Do guests need an account?

No. Guests open the event link and shoot. Hosts manage the roll in the browser; we email a backup link for another device.

How long are photos kept?

Free keeps the gallery 30 days. Party keeps it 1 year. Wedding keeps it forever.

Is this a social network?

No. There is no feed, no likes, and no guest accounts. One event. One roll. One reveal.
